Flip Flops, in Platform?
Yup, you can get platform flip-flops . While the regular ones are around a half an inch thick these can go from that to 3.5 or more inches at the heel! I don't think there are many if any for guys.
Leather, wood, cork, plastic and rubber are the materials that can be used. Why platform flip-flops? I have no idea. Maybe because some give your feet an arch, people want to stand out more or just want to be different.
It may bring back memories for people that lived in the 70's and 80's when platform shoes were very popular.
You have many different heights and styles to choose from. But some say it's a fashion crime to wear them. Plus the really tall ones can seriously injure you. You could break a leg, twist your ankles or worse.
Wearing platform flip flops are appealing to shorter people. This is really the only way to get some height.
